Free Estimations

When you choose A&B Collision Center for your car repairs, we will not blindside you with services or costs that were not discussed. We offer free estimates for your own use and to submit to your insurance company, if necessary. Our entire staff is licensed by the NYS Insurance Board and fully trained in using the CCC estimating program. This will ensure your repair estimate is as accurate as possible.

If your car has been in an accident, there’s probably a lot going through your mind. Navigating the insurance aspect of the situation can be one of the biggest stressors, but A&B Collision can help take that off your plate. Our specialists will help you file a claim with your auto insurance company before any work begins to ensure your repairs are fully covered.

We accept all major insurances and are a Geico Direct Auto Repair Xpress facility, an Allstate Good Hands Repair member, and a certified Mercedes-Benz repair center.

When you bring your vehicle to one of A&B Collision’s three state-of-the-art facilities in Staten Island and Matawan, we’ll set to work to bring it back to life quickly. Before we do anything though, we will evaluate the damage, cost, and necessary repairs, and ensure everything is approved by you and any insurance. Our highly skilled and trained specialists truly care about you and strive to do whatever it takes to make your car look like it just came off the lot again.

Rental Arrangements & Pick-Up Services

We understand that reliable transportation is essential for most people to go about their daily lives. That’s why we offer car rental arrangement services to ensure you can continue your normal routine while we’re working our magic on your vehicle. You won’t have to stress about how to get around and can go on as usual until your car is fully repaired.

Car rental is not feasible for everybody who comes to our shop for repairs. If you decide not to rent a vehicle in the meantime, we can still make your life a little easier with our convenient pick-up and drop-off services. As part of our car repair services, we’ll supply you with shuttle service to and from the ferry from our Hannah Street location. We will also pick up and drop off anyone who lives within five miles of our Veterans Road West location. You can rest assured we will get you safely to and from our shop as needed.

frequently asked questions

Do you have rental cars?

We have a partnership with Enterprise where they will pick up your rental and initially shuttle you from our shop to their facility. When your vehicle is finished you can drop the rental back to our shop directly.
Do I have to pay full deductible?

Yes, in order to complete the repairs we require full payment as per insurance policy.
What to do with a hit-and-run?

Come to our shop for a free estimate if you cannot decide whether or not to go through insurance.
Do you use all OEM (original dealer) parts?

If going through insurance, we will go according to the insurance guidelines, otherwise we can make accommodations and create an additional bill if necessary.
How can I make sure that I reported my claim correctly?

Keep it simple, what happened, where and when? As far as area of impact, provide exact locations where the vehicle damage is located.
What do I do when I'm involved in an accident?

Exchange paperwork including personal, vehicle and insurance info from the other party. Otherwise, get to a safe space and call emergency services to assist you if needed.
How long will it take for my car to be repaired?

It is case by case, with a number of factors that are within and out of our control. We can provide a range, however never expect an exact time for delivery.
What do I do if my car needs backordered parts?

We offer an initial parts order of what is visibly damaged if the vehicle is deemed drivable. We will notify you upon the completion of your parts order to drop off the vehicle.
What if the car I was operating that got involved in the accident is not my vehicle?

Make sure that you notify the insured and policyholder of the vehicle right away. Additionally have them present when dropping off the vehicle in order to authorize repairs.
Do you do New York/New Jersey State inspections?

Unfortunately, we do not provide inspections.
Are your repairs under warranty?

We provide a lifetime warranty passed on from the manufacturers for our repairs. This will be voided if the vehicle had incurred another loss or road wear, compromising our previous repairs and if the vehicle has transferred owners. Additionally this does not cover wear and tear parts; i.e. wipers, tires, suspension, etc.
What should I do if I feel like I was not at fault in the accident?

File a claim with the other party's insurance and wait for them to accept liability. The time to approve said liability is case by case.
Can you install parts that I bought on my vehicle?

We can only repair the vehicle with parts that we sourced through our own vendors.
